Principal's Message

Welcome to Centennial Elementary!

I’m honored to serve as the principal of Centennial and to be part of a school community that cares deeply about students, learning, and one another. Our school is a place where we work together to ensure that every student feels safe, supported, valued, and connected while also being challenged and expected to grow.

Our mission captures what we believe about our work:

Centennial is an inclusive learning community, ensuring student growth and achievement every day.

That mission guides the decisions we make each day. We provide every student with meaningful access to high-quality instruction, build strong relationships, and create a positive and predictable school culture where all students have the opportunity to learn and thrive.

Our ROAR expectations give students a common language for how we show up as learners and as members of our school community:

A — Act Safely
R — Respect Our Community

These expectations help us create a school environment where students know what is expected, understand that their choices matter, and feel a sense of belonging.

We also believe that strong partnerships with families make a meaningful difference for students. We value open communication and want our parents/guardians to feel informed, welcomed, and connected to our school. Each Friday, we email our school newsletter, the Cub Tribune, to families, highlighting important updates, upcoming events, and information about what is happening at Centennial. We also share school news and celebrations through our school Facebook page. We encourage families to stay connected, ask questions, and reach out whenever we can be a resource.

At Centennial, we are committed to growing together, learning together, and keeping our focus on what matters most: our students.
